Volume expansion of gases at constant pressure

Volume expansion of gases at constant pressure

Heating a volume of air can result in both an increase in volume as well as an increase in pressure. The change can be shown by a manometer with movable arms. The pressure is held constant, so that the change of the thermodynamical state is an isobaric process.
